Leeds College of Art

There are many opportunities to study or work abroad through the Erasmus Programme which can support UK/EU Leeds College of Art students to spend part of their second undergraduate year (normally the first semester) abroad in continental Europe with one of a range of partner colleges and universities.

Most courses participate in the scheme and opportunities currently exist for students to go to Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain and Switzerland.

The College has also teamed up with East African Playgrounds (EAP) to offer our students the opportunity to volunteer for a month in Uganda during summer. The project is to build a playground for children, but volunteers will also support a community development programme with activities centred on arts & crafts, sports and coaching.

Our international team are working hard to expand mobility opportunities, and are looking to provide work placements abroad soon as part of the Erasmus scheme, so watch this space! Please don’t hesitate to contact our International Officer, Emma Trevaskiss (emma.trevaskiss@leeds-art.ac.uk) or Head of Internationalisation, David Braham (d.braham@leeds-art.ac.uk) to find out more.
