The RAU has signed agreements with universities in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US enabling students registered on full-time undergraduate programmes to undertake their second year of studies overseas. Further opportunities may also be available within Europe, depending on an individual’s language competencies and the availability of suitable programmes of study.
Any student wishing to take such an opportunity will be supported by the University to identify the most appropriate programme and modules to study such that a clear progression route is mapped out and credits achieved from the international study period can be substituted directly for those in the second year of the RAU programme for which they are registered.
The University is also part of the Erasmus exchange programme within Europe and has an extended Erasmus Charter enabling student study and placement activities to be undertaken within Europe, subject to funding agreements with receiving institutions.
