Between October and January 2016 the British Council and Universities UK International ran three sets of European Higher Education Area (EHEA) workshops in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland, working with a team of UK EHEA experts to support the implementation of EHEA reforms.
The themes of these workshops were:
1. Developing Successful Joint Master and Doctoral Programmes
2. Promoting employability through mobility programmes for HEIs
3, Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships and Capacity Building projects and innovative student-centred learning
Presentations and workshop reports from all of these workshops aimed at staff from UK HEIs involved in mobility and developing international partnerships are available to download from the British Council's website.
A short report on all three sets of workshops, authored by John Reilly, one of the team of UK EHEA experts, is also available here. As well as providing a summary of the workshops, the report looks at a number of recurring themes of risk and risk assessment, employability, and the benefits and competences aquired through mobility.
