About the Go International 2016: Mobility Makes a Difference conference
The conference brought together 103 UK and international outward student mobility experts and practitioners from higher education institutions, partner organisations and government departments to discuss the personal, institutional and national impact of outward mobility. Ten interactive sessions took place across the day, including discussions about the latest data on the outcomes of UK outward student mobility, strategic approaches universities have taken to promote mobility, the impact of nationally-coordinated mobility programmes, and the impact of mobility at the institutional level and the impact of mobility on the UK's reputation and influence abroad. The programme of the event can be found here, and a 'storify' of the event, taking you through the day in pictures, tweets and infographics, can be viewed here.
We were delighted to have welcomed Neil Carmichael, MP for Stroud, and the Right Hon. Lord David Willetts, Executive Chair of the Resolution Foundation as our keynote speakers.
This event was sponsored by:
- IES Internships who sponsored the networking reception at the end of the day;
- Post Study who had a sponsored stand during the event.
